George Chewning is a graduate of the United States Military Academy at West Point. Upon graduation he was commissioned as an Infantry Officer and served in the Army for five years, including a tour in Afghanistan. He has experience leading teams of up to 120 personnel and managing projects for organizations as large as 4,000 personnel. George is pursuing his MBA at the George Washington University School of Business. Concurrently with his MBA candidacy, George serves as the legislative director for the Global War on Terror Memorial Foundation – the 501(c)3 nonprofit dedicated to the establishment of a war memorial on the National Mall.
Aran Clair is a 2nd year MBA candidate at the School of Business where he serves as the President of the Consulting Club. Before coming to GWSB he worked in strategy, first for a media company then for a consulting firm that specializes in international development. Aran holds an AB in History from Princeton University where he was an award-winning varsity oarsman. He enjoys running, discovering new podcasts, and all things Cincinnati Bengals-related.
Adam Johnson is a second-year Global MBA student at the George Washington University School of Business. At GWU he is on the board for both the Consulting Club and Energy Club. This past summer Adam was a Summer Associate at Deloitte Consulting where he worked on a large change management project. He is excited to bring what he learned in his internship back to school, complete is MBA next Spring, and launch his career in consulting.
Maysam Kashipour is a second year MBA student at the George Washington University and he is from Tehran, Iran.
Prior to coming to the US, he had worked in different functions such as corporate strategy, FP&A, and investment analysis for 13 years, helping business find their growth path and be ahead of their competition.
During the MBA program, He is more focused on corporate finance to better prepare himself to become a CFO.
Weidan Li spent his summer working for Optimas Solutions, a global company based in Chicago, as a corporate finance and strategy consulting intern. During his internship, he successfully worked with capital and cash conversion cycle projects and assisted the finance team to make strategic financial decisions. He received his first master’s degree with a major in International Business Management from Yonsei University in Seoul, South Korea. Prior to joining GW, Weidan Li served as an Assistant Manager at Samsung Fire & Marine Insurance company’s global headquarter in Seoul.
Sarah McJury leverages her nonprofit and international development experience to develop sustainable solutions in challenging environments. Sarah chose to pursue her MBA at GW to round out her skills in analysis and strategic planning. Aside from MIPC, Sarah plays an active role in several organizations on campus, including the Women's MBA Association, Graduate Ambassador Program, and Net Impact. After graduation, she will join Whirlpool Corporation's GIS Team in an internal consulting role.

Jay Nester is a second-year Global MBA at GWSB focusing on strategy and international business. Before coming to GW, Jay worked in global asset management at JPMorgan Chase. During his time in business school, he led four pro-bono consulting projects across the US, Europe, Asia, and Africa for clients ranging from start-ups to Fortune 10 companies. This summer, Jay was a Summer Associate in Deloitte's Strategy & Operations practice where he provided strategy, data analytics, and learning solutions to international development and healthcare clients. He plans to join Deloitte full-time next year as a Senior Consultant in the federal practice.
Passionate about creative problem solving and developing long-term, sustainable solutions to myriad complex business challenges, Allie Perkins has five plus years experience in global experiential marketing and client relationship management for Fortune 500 Companies. During her time at GW, Allie has led several pro-gratis consulting projects across multiple countries, including South Africa and the Democratic Republic of Congo, where she provided marketing strategy, business development, and competitive analysis solutions. After graduation, she plans to join Deloitte full-time as a Senior Consultant in the federal practice.
Craig has a professional background in accounting and finance, having begun his career in audit services, he has since progressed onto working in tax and corporate finance. His most recent work was as a senior financial controller for a real estate management firm, in which he was charged with running a multi-million-dollar fund as well as providing financial services to clients. In the future, Craig is looking to leverage his knowledge of finance and accounting to work in a business development and strategy role where business growth is the name of the game. He's a keen fitness enthusiast and loves playing golf or just being outdoors.
Sonal Singh is second year Global MBA candidate at the George Washington University, focusing in Finance and Leadership Management. Prior to GW, Sonal was consulting for global financial institutions, helping them implement new functionalities, improve business processes, and advising clients on industry best practices. She plans to leverage her consulting expertise to get into a strategy role. In her free time, she enjoys enjoys traveling and learning about different cultures.

Jane Azzinaro seeks to leverage her MIPC and GWSB experiences to launch into strategic consulting. After graduation from the University of Maryland, she went on to run the digital presence for 8 different companies in the mid-atlantic region. Needing a change, she left to start J. Azzinaro Consulting, LLC, a digital marketing consulting firm for small and medium sized businesses. David Brunelli is pursuing strategy consulting in the Middle East. Originally from Franklin, Massachusetts, he graduated from Wesleyan University and spent the past five years working with children with autism in Boston and Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. A proficient Arabic speaker, he plans to leverage his extensive knowledge of and experience in the Middle East with a MBA to work for an international consulting firm. David is president of the consulting club and was part of a 5-person team awarded 2nd place in the U.S. Chamber of Commerce Foundation MBA Case Competition. He is a New England Patriots fan and loves Cape Cod.
Tay Davis is a native of the Washington, DC area and a proud alumna of Howard University. Upon completing her Bachelor's degree, she worked as a higher education professional, specifically in the growth and development of student experience programs, special projects, and initiatives at two different universities. Outside of work, she dedicated her time to consulting entrepreneurs on their startup operations and company structure. She is now pursuing her MBA to transition into a career in operations or human capital consulting.
