George Chewning is a graduate of the United States Military Academy at West Point. Upon graduation he was commissioned as an Infantry Officer and served in the Army for five years, including a tour in Afghanistan. He has experience leading teams of up to 120 personnel and managing projects for organizations as large as 4,000 personnel. George is pursuing his MBA at the George Washington University School of Business. Concurrently with his MBA candidacy, George serves as the legislative director for the Global War on Terror Memorial Foundation – the 501(c)3 nonprofit dedicated to the establishment of a war memorial on the National Mall.

Aran Clair is a 2nd year MBA candidate at the School of Business where he serves as the President of the Consulting Club. Before coming to GWSB he worked in strategy, first for a media company then for a consulting firm that specializes in international development. Aran holds an AB in History from Princeton University where he was an award-winning varsity oarsman. He enjoys running, discovering new podcasts, and all things Cincinnati Bengals-related.

Adam Johnson is a second-year Global MBA student at the George Washington University School of Business. At GWU he is on the board for both the Consulting Club and Energy Club. This past summer Adam was a Summer Associate at Deloitte Consulting where he worked on a large change management project. He is excited to bring what he learned in his internship back to school, complete is MBA next Spring, and launch his career in consulting.

Maysam Kashipour is a second year MBA student at the George Washington University and he is from Tehran, Iran.

Weidan Li is currently a Global MBA candidate at the George Washington University in Washington, DC. Weidan did his summer internship for Optimas Solutions, a global company based in Chicago as a corporate finance/strategy consulting intern. During his internship, he successfully worked with capital and cash conversion cycle projects and assisted the finance team to make strategic financial decisions. He received his first master’s degree with a major in International Business Management from Yonsei University in Seoul, South Korea. Prior to joining GW, Weidan Li served as an Assistant Manager at Samsung Fire & Marine Insurance company’s global headquarter in Seoul. He is hoping to combine his marketing experience and MBA education to become a global business leader and make better financial decisions for businesses in the future.

Jay Nester is a second-year Global MBA student at the George Washington University School of Business. At GW, he led three consulting engagements across the US, Asia, and Africa for clients ranging from start-ups to Fortune 10 companies. This summer, Jay worked in Deloitte's Strategy & Operations practice where he provided strategy, data analytics, and learning solutions to international development and healthcare clients. He plans to join Deloitte full time next year as a Senior Consultant in the federal practice.

Craig has a professional background in accounting and finance, having begun his career in audit services, he has since progressed onto working in tax and corporate finance. His most recent work was as a senior financial controller for a real estate management firm, in which he was charged with running a multi-million-dollar fund as well as providing financial services to clients. In the future, Craig is looking to leverage his knowledge of finance and accounting to work in a business development and strategy role where business growth is the name of the game. He's a keen fitness enthusiast and loves playing golf or just being outdoors.

Sonal Singh is second year Global MBA candidate at the George Washington University, focusing in Finance and Leadership Management. Prior to GW, Sonal was consulting for global financial institutions, helping them implement new functionalities, improve business processes, and advising clients on industry best practices. Jane Azzinaro graduated The Robert H. Smith School of Business at the University of Maryland, College Park with a Bachelor of Science in Marketing and a Minor in Leadership Studies. She went on to run the digital presence for 8 different companies in the mid-atlantic region for just shy of 4 years, growing the business by over $8M. Needing a change, she left to start J. Azzinaro Consulting, LLC, a digital marketing consulting company for small and medium sized businesses. She hopes to leverage her MIPC and GWSB experiences to launch into strategic consulting. In her free time, she is a Regional Director for Alpha Kappa Psi, Professional Business Fraternity, overseeing 17 schools in DC, Maryland and Virginia.
David Brunelli is pursuing strategy and operations consulting in the Middle East. Originally from Franklin, Massachusetts, he graduated from Wesleyan University and spent the past five years working with children with autism in Boston and Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. A proficient Arabic speaker, he plans to leverage his extensive knowledge of and experience in the Middle East with a MBA to work for an international consulting firm. He is a New England Patriots fan and loves Cape Cod.
Kellen is currently a Masters of Business Administration candidate with a focus in strategy and operations. He spent eight years in the US Air Force as a weapon systems procurement officer and is a veteran of the Afghanistan war on multiple tours. After graduating from the US Air Force Academy with a B.S. in Pre-Law, Kellen completed his first duty assignment in Washington D.C. where he was named the 2012 Air Force District of Washington Outstanding Contingency Contracting Officer Award for his efforts in Afghanistan. Kellen has most recently worked in the burgeoning cyber security sector in San Antonio, TX where he led a $200M acquisition portfolio delivering encryption and cyber security capabilities to over 3 million Department of Defense personnel.
Prior to coming to GW, Tay Davis was a higher education professional. She started at Howard University overseeing their student experience programs and special projects, and later transitioned to helping develop the Recreational Sports and Fitness programs at American University. Outside of work, she dedicated her time and talents to assisting entrepreneurs, helping found a media production company and an event-based creative collective and consulting firm. She is now pursuing her MBA to move into a career in strategy and innovation consulting with hopes of one day starting her own startup consulting firm.
Jessica Goodman is interested in leveraging her public sector experience at the federal and state level with her MBA in a human capital consulting role. Jessica applies her expertise in analyzing the nexus of government regulations and the changing nature of work to help teams attract and retain talented professionals. Most recently, Jessica served as a labor and employment policy legislative assistant for the Committee on Education and the Workforce in the U.S. House of Representatives. Prior to joining the Committee in 2015, she worked in the Virginia General Assembly and the U.S. House of Representatives for a Member of Congress from the Commonwealth of Virginia. Jessica earned her BA in Political Science and Leadership Studies from the University of Richmond in 2012 and is from McLean, Virginia.
Ubaid Haroon is a first year MBA student (class of 2019) at George Washington University who is interested in strategy and operations consulting for the technology and energy sectors. An entrepreneur who believes in leveraging technology and business for high social impact, Ubaid has led two start-up ventures. He founded Tyche Solar and Geothermal Solutions to provide renewable and sustainable energy solutions to commercial businesses in Pakistan. He also co-founded an elementary school, Eleve School System, focused on improving sub-standard elementary education in Pakistan while facilitating working parents. A Pakistani national, Ubaid holds a Bachelors in Aerospace Engineering from Institute of Space Technology, Pakistan, and a Masters in Engineering Management from Robert Morris University, Pittsburgh.
