Angela Petras Johnson is a Career Consultant for graduate students at GWSB, and she focuses on the consulting industry.
Before joining GWSB, Angela worked for almost 3 years as a Career Coach at Georgetown University’s McDonough School of Business. She is a certified professional co-active coach (CPCC) and works with clients on career and leadership development. Her coaching expertise is inspired by her extensive experience in various countries, with different cultures. Prior to Georgetown, Angela spent three years as a Senior Career Transition Consultant for DrakeBeamMorin, and 10 years with Accenture as a management consultant for organizational change management and business process redesign.
She started her career working with a Rhode Island Governor and State General Treasurer for 5 years, focusing on policy and press work, and was also a retail bank manager just out of college. Angela holds a BS Degree in Business Finance from Providence College. She lived and worked in Istanbul to provide organizational change consulting services countrywide to the second largest bank in Turkey. She also lived in Italy and Greece, and in many cities across the US. She has a passion for languages, as reflected in her studies of Italian, Turkish, Greek, Spanish and Russian. Angela lives with her family in Washington, DC.
