NEW! Be Sure to Cast Your Vote

Over the summer, the staff in GWSB Offices of Advising and Undergraduate Programs Offices came together to formulate and update the mission, vision, and value statements of the staff in order to better enhance the student experience.

The Office of Undergraduate Programs is choosing a design with which to display our Mission, Vision, and Values.  We have three beautiful designs to choose from, and we would like your input! Please stop by the Office of Undergraduate Programs (Duques 455) to vote for your favorite design. The winning design will be enlarged and framed in the hallway outside our office!

NEW! Increased Study Space in Duques

The Office of Undergraduate Programs is excited to announce increased study space in Duques to accompany the newly increased building hours. Spaces on the 4th floor of Duques, including the Undergraduate Lounge (453) and other available rooms, will be reserved as silent study space during the following hours:

Monday - Thursday: 10pm - 2am
Sundays: noon - 2am

Please remember to be respectful of the spaces and clean up any food or drink. If chairs or tables are moved while studying, please replace them before leaving. Students are also reminded not to leave valuables unattended at any time.

Annual Graduate School Preview Day

The Graduate School at the University of Maryland, College Park, invites your juniors and seniors to its 17th Annual Graduate School Preview Day on Thursday, October 11, 2012.  Preview Day will be held on campus in the Colony Ballroom of the Adele H. Stamp Student Union from 8:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

This is a wonderful opportunity for students to interact with representatives of our outstanding graduate programs here at the University of Maryland. They will also learn about the processes for applying to graduate schools and financing their graduate education. In addition, they will hear from current University of Maryland students about success strategies for graduate studies.

If you have any questions, please call us at 1-800-245-GRAD or e-mail us at grad-recruitment@umd.edu. We look forward to your participation!
