Interested in getting more involved with the School of Business? Apply for an Executive Board position on the Undergraduate Business Association! The UBA has a strong entrepreneurial focus and as a member of the executive board, you will have the opportunity to shape the UBA and potentially transform the undergraduate experience for all School of Business students.
Every GWSB undergraduate student is eligible, and highly encouraged to apply for a position.

Graduate International Education & Programs is pleased to announce the following new introductory language courses through The Global Languages Network (GLN) for the Spring semester:

Russian Beginner I: 6:00pm - 8:00pm
Chinese Beginner I (Mandarin): 7:00pm - 9:00pm
French Beginner I: 6:00pm - 8:00pm
The Global Language Network is an official 501(c)3 not-for-profit organization whose mission is to advance language learning by offering classes in common and less commonly taught languages, making language learning affordable and effective and facilitating cross-cultural interaction and exchange.
GLN is partnering with The George Washington University School of Business to offer language classes exclusively catered to GWSB students. Classes will run Feb. 15th – May 4th: once a week for 2 hours for 12 weeks total.
The courses include only a $25 processing fee, and a $100 deposit which is returned to participants who attend at least 80% of the classes.

Business Gives Back is a student-led initiative bringing together the GW and D.C. communities in order to celebrate a commitment to sustainable business and responsible management.
All proceeds will directly benefit LearnServe International, a Washington, D.C.-based non-profit led by a current GWSB student. LearnServe International equips high school students with the tools of business planning, innovative problem-solving, and cross-cultural fluency. The program challenges students to lead and join community-based social change efforts across the D.C. area and the world.

The Andrew Stergiopoulos Foundation, in collaboration with the faculty and administration of George Washington University, is currently accepting application for the 2011 Andrew Stergiopoulos Scholarship Awards. Each year, the Awards are given to students in the sophomore and junior classes of the GW Undergraduate business school who exhibit Andrew’s outstanding qualities, including academic and athletic achievement, leadership and vision. Traditionally, two Awards are given each year, and each Award takes the form of a cash gift in the amount of $2500. To be used to defray tuition or work-study expenses, for a special research project, or to fund study abroad.
Winners of the Award are selected based on a short application, an essay and a faculty recommendation. Please visit our web site at www.Sterg.org for further information.
