GW/Kent State European Business Program – Florence, Italy

GW partners with Kent State University to offer the European Business Program to GWSB students. This program offers students the opportunity to study business in an international context and to fulfill some core BBA requirements during either the fall or spring semesters.

Location: Florence, Italy

When: Fall & Spring semesters

Course options:
BADM 3201 – Business & Government Relations*
BADM 3501 – Financial Management & Markets*
IBUS 3001 – Intro to International Business*
Italian language course (required)
Electives: vary by semester, but typically include courses such as Art History, Classical Studies, Political Science, Economics, Italian Literature

* = GW business course options; not required for program participation. Letter grades are received that count towards the GPA.

Program components:
• Students enrolled in one or more Business classes can participate in trips to strategic international business centers; past trips have been to Geneva, Switzerland and Milan, Italy.
• Courses are taught in English.
