Bio and Research:
Dr. Bloom has many years experience as an educator, manager, clinician, and advocate. Gail provides medical and mental health agencies with administrative and clinical consulting services. Areas of expertise include communications tactics, problem solving, ethics, policy analysis, strategic planning and clinical decision-making and advocacy in behavioral dysfunction, suicide prevention, mental health, and community-based wellness programs. She is a longstanding member on the editorial board of a peer-reviewed journal and has authored text chapters on the specialty topic of medical ethics.
Dr. Bloom received her Doctorate in Occupational Therapy from Chatham University. Additional doctoral courses were completed at the University of Massachusetts, Lowell, Department of Education. She earned a Master of Arts in Management of Health & Human Services from Lesley College and a Bachelor of Science from Tufts University, Boston School of Occupational Therapy.
Gail lives with her family in Andover, Massachusetts, a large suburban town near Boston.
