Areas of Expertise: Corporate Governance, shareholder activism, environmental strategy.

Patricia’s primary research interests are on sustainability and corporate governance. In her work, she investigates how the composition of the board of directors and the design of executive compensation influence how firms respond to pressures to improve environmental strategy.  She has experience teaching Principles of Economics, Business and Government Relations, and has proposed, developed, and led a study abroad MBA course in the Amazon forest, in Brazil. Her industry experience is focused on corporate social responsibility and environmental strategy including various organizations such as the ILO - International Labor Organization, ABN AMRO Bank (acquired by Santander), Ethos Institute, and the ISS - Institutional Shareholder Services (MSCI Inc.)
