About the Office

The Office of Events and Information Services is responsible for producing School of Business events that contribute to academic and student life and University recognition. We are committed to working with our faculty, staff and students* to promote the School of Business through quality events. We provide direction to ensure events meet the specifications, expectations and desired results of the client. We are happy to plan meetings, seminars, symposiums, receptions, dinners and other events. Our staff is available to provide assistance with invitations, room set-up, décor, entertainment, audio visual, etc.

*Student requests must be made through a School of Business Department.

To schedule rooms at the School of Business, the Duquès & Funger Request Form must be completed and returned to the Office of Events via emai at or fax (202) 994-1190. Telephone requests will not be accepted.

All room requests must be submitted at least 48 hours prior to event. Once requests have been processed, a confirmation email will be sent. Please consider the high volume of requests and limited space. We may not be able to accommodate all requests.

All events that serve alcohol require the presence of a GW Police Officer. To make arrangements for police coverage, please contact the University Police at (202) 994-6948.
