James Bailey’s upcoming book “The Handbook of Organizational and Managerial Wisdom” has been named the “Most Promising New Title of 2007” by the European Academy of Management. Bailey is the Tucker Professorial Fellow of Leadership and Director of the Executive Development Program at GWSB. The book will be released in June 2007 by Sage Publications. It is co-authored with Eric Kessler (Pace University.)

The International Association for Business and Society (IABS) awarded Ernie Englander, associate professor of strategic management and public policy at GW’s School of Business, and co-author Allen Kaufman, University of New Hampshire, it’s “Best Article Award.” The pair received the honor for their paper “The End of Managerial Ideology: From Corporate Social Responsibility to Corporate Social Indifference,” published in Enterprise & Society, 5 (3): 404-450, in 2004.
