Biography


Heather Bremenstuhl joined the GWSB Advising Team in 2016 as an Undergraduate Student Experience Advisor and Instructor for the First Year Development Program.  Heather received her MA in Sociology from The University of Arizona, as well as a Certificate in Sociology from Northwestern University, and a BA in Architecture from Lehigh University in Bethlehem, PA. Prior to joining GW, Heather worked as a member of the Sociology Faculty at Allegany College of Maryland where she was responsible for developing and teaching Sociology and Anthropology courses and academic advising. She also served as a member of several college-wide committees focusing on co-curricular programing, academic program development, and student assessment. Originally from Gaithersburg, Maryland, Heather has lived in many locations across the US from NYC to LA. In her spare time she enjoys museums, hiking, and gardening.
