Dear Prospective MSPM Student,
On behalf of the Project Management Academic Committee (PMAC), I appreciate your interest in our Program. In the PMAC, the Program's core faculty members take responsibility for any procedures or issues concerning the academic integrity of the Master of Science in Project Management (MSPM) and the corresponding academic performance of its students. The willingness of faculty to work together to maintain and strengthen the Program's excellence has kept GWU's dual-mode MSPM at the top for more than 15 years.
PMAC is committed to providing our students with meaningful and rewarding academic experiences that deftly balance theory and practice. MSPM students develop the knowledge and skills that professionals need to be successful project managers.
Knowing that any educational endeavor is only as strong as its instructors, to teach its courses the MSPM Program draws first on distinguished faculty from within the Decision Sciences Department. These faculty members bring to our Program expertise, experience, and a passion for teaching.
In addition to myself, Decision Sciences faculty who have taught Project Management students include Drs. Ernest Forman; Ted Glickman; Sanjay Jain; Ahmad Jarrah; Shivraj Kanungo; Homayoun Khamooshi; Marie Matta; Srinivas Prasad; and Young Kwak. The core project management faculty has been with the Program for about a decade or more.
Thanks to our strategic location in Washington, DC, we also employ carefully selected adjunct faculty members from world-class organizations such as NASA, the World Bank, and the National Research Council.
If you have additional questions, please visit our website, read through our information packet, attend one of our convenient online information sessions, or contact the MSPM office directly at 202-994-6145.
Congratulations on taking the first step towards pursuing your advanced degree in project management!
Sincerely yours,

Denis F. Cioffi, Ph.D.
