Short-term Study Abroad

Short-term abroad programs are an opportunity to extend students’ personal and professional development beyond the traditional classroom setting. Course work and study topics are applied directly to the international experience as the programs seek to facilitate deeper academic connections and career building opportunities. GWSB encourages all students in the program to consider a study abroad experience to enrich their program of study.

Short-term abroad programs are offered each semester as well as during the spring, summer, and winter intersession. The majority of courses meet several times, either on campus or online, prior to and following the abroad component. Overseas travel typically lasts 1-3 weeks and group sizes tend to range between 10-25 students.
