The Business Civic Leadership Center (BCLC) in conjunction with ICR, employs undergraduate interns to help conduct its Marketing and Communications programs.
Each intern will work part-time assisting in several efforts. Interns will assist maintenance of BCLC's digital content across multiple platforms, including website pages, email marketing, and some social engagement. Interns are also the first line of defense in clean, effective list management. Interns will work jointly for the BCLC's Marketing Director and Communications Manager.
Morgan Viehman is a rising senior from Camden, Maine majoring in journalism at the GW School of Media and Public Affairs. She is currently a digital communications intern at the U.S. Chamber of Commerce Foundation's Business Civic Leadership Center. She has written for the culture section of the GW Hatchet and with a minor in fine arts, has a special interest in digital media production, graphics, and online journalism. She spent the 2012 Fall semester studying in Florence, Italy. Her service activities include online crisis hotline staffing for the Rape, Abuse, Incest National Network, and volunteer web design for the international non-profit, Clowns Without Borders. She has a love for both traditional and innovative means of communication and hopes to leave GW as a "journalist-of-all-trades".
Paige is currently a sophomore at the George Washington University pursuing an undergraduate degree in International Affairs with a concentration in Global Health at the Elliot School of International Affairs with minors in Political Science and French. At the Institute for Corporate Responsibility, Paige is participating in a partnership with the Chamber of Commerce Business Civic Leadership Center assisting the director of communications create a new website and other tasks as needed.
