The George Washington University School of Business is pleased to offer a joint International Master of Accountancy Program with Renmin University of China International College (RUC-IC; 中国人民大学国际学院).
There is growing demand worldwide and in every industry for highly qualified accounting professionals. This new International Master of Accountancy Program (I-MAccy) is designed to meet that demand by offering students an excellent preparation for the U.S. CPA Examination as well as a successful international career in accounting, auditing, or taxation.
The I-MAccy program is appropriate for students of all backgrounds. The only prerequisite courses are Economics and Statistics, both of which can be taken during the first semester of the program if necessary.
This two-year program offers the same courses, faculty, and resources as GWSB’s highly ranked Master of Accountancy Program http://business.gwu.edu/maccy/. During the first semester, students study at RUC-IC in China, with courses taught by faculty from RUC-IC and GWSB. The remainder of the program consists of 34.5 credits at GWSB in the United States taught by GWSB faculty.
I-MAccy students have all the same rights and privileges as other graduate students at GWSB, and those who complete the I-MAccy Program receive a Masters of Accountancy degree from GWSB as well as an Accountancy Certificate in financial training from RUC-IC.
