Admission

Admission is competitive and based on an applicant’s work experience, academic preparation and performance, strength of recommendations, GMAT scores, and statement of purpose.

Application Requirements

  • A completed application with $60 non-refundable application fee
  • Resume
  • Two or more letters of recommendation (academic or professional)
  • Statement of purpose
  • Official transcripts from all colleges/universities attended
  • Official GMAT score and test date (within five years). Make sure to report your score to the GWU Professional MBA Program.
  • Accelerated MBA applicants: personal interview with a program representative

Applicants who have not completed a university degree in a country in which English is the principal language must also submit a current TOEFL score of at least 100 under the computer format or 600 under the paper format. Applicants may also submit the International English Language Testing System (IELTS) with a minimum score of 7.0.
