Admission
Each year, approximately 50 students are selected from a pool of about 120 applicants to enroll in the Master of Tourism Administration program. Although not required, professional experience is preferred. Applicants must hold a bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited university.
Application Deadlines
- November 15 for enrollment in the Spring semester
- March 1 for enrollment in the Summer semester
- May 1 for enrollment in the Fall semester
Application Requirements
- A complete online application with $60 non-refundable application fee
- Three letters of recommendation (submitted online)
- Resume
- Statement of professional career goals
- Official transcripts from all colleges/universities attended
- Undergraduate GPA of 3.0 or better
- Either the GRE or GMAT official report - no older than 5 years - will be required.
* Desire GRE 1200 overall score in Verbal and Quantitative and 5 - 4.5 for Analytical writing. If submitting GMAT a minimum 500 out of 800 score will be acceptable.
Additional Requirements for International Students
- Financial Certificate (complete both sides)
- English Language Requirement- graduates of foreign universities (in countries where English is not the principal language) must submit a current TOEFL score of at least 600 on the paper exam (100 on the computer exam) or a score of 7.0 on the International English Language Testing System (IELTS)).
- If the TOEFL score presented is lower than 600 (250-100 or 7.0 in the IELTS) and offer of admission granted; the English as a Foreign Language (EFL) placement test for Academic Purpose for graduate students will be required prior to the start of the semester.
