Admission
In reviewing applications, the admissions committee examines factors such as previous academic experience and performance, work experience, and professional objectives.
Requirements for Admission
- A bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited college or university.
- Strong academic performance.
- A minimum of at least two years of professional work experience.
- The GMAT exam - if your GPA in an applicable undergraduate business discipline is below 3.0 or if you do not possess the requisite seven years of professional experience. (GMAT scores should be no more than five years old. (Institution GMAT Code: QK4-4F-62)
- For students whose first language is not English, a TOEFL score of above 250 (Computer-based), 100 (Internet-based) or 600 (Paper-based) for international students. (Institution Code: 5246)
- A demonstrated strong interest in project management.
Application Process
Qualified applicants should submit the following items:
- GW Graduate Admissions application form.
- Statement of Career Objectives: One or two pages of no more than 500 words describing how the program fits into your professional life and your career objectives.
- A current resume.
- Three letters of recommendation.
- All university transcripts: Please include an official transcript from each college or university attended, even if it did not lead to a degree and even if the credits appear on other transcripts. If academic records are in a language other than English, a certified English translation must be provided. However, translations alone will not be accepted.
- A non-refundable application fee. This fee is waived for applicants who are GW graduates or current degree candidates at GW.
Application Deadlines
Applications for the fall semester are due June 30; for the spring semester, November 15.
