Prior to joining GW, Xue was an assistant professor of accounting at the University of Texas at Austin. She was also an energy-trading, risk-management analyst at AES NewEnergy in Boston, Massachusetts, and a finance manager at Shell Group in Beijing, China.
Xue’s research focuses on how financial information affects decision making in the capital market. Her work has been published in the Review of Accounting Studies.
