Already involved in the Department of Accountancy at GWSB, Verghese has become a visiting assistant professor of accountancy. Apart from GW's School of Business, his prior teaching experience includes Georgetown University, City University of New York, Columbia University and the University of Houston. Dr. Verghese's work has been published in the Journal of Accounting Research and Applied Expert Systems; he has made numerous presentations at accounting conventions and conferences.
