Her current research focus is on entrepreneurship, emotion and individual abilities. She has presented her papers at several international as well as regional conferences. She has won numerous awards for her papers such as Best Conceptual Paper for Entrepreneurship Division of Academy of Management, (Anaheim, 2008), IDEA award for research promise (Chicago, 2009) and Best Research Paper award from Dingman Centre of Entrepreneurship (2008). She serves as a reviewer for Organization Science and Group and Organization Management journals.
