Hill has taught courses in human resources and organizational behavior. She has presented her research at several conferences, including the Academy of Management and the Society for Industrial and Organizational Psychology. She has authored papers in several peer-reviewed publications. She is the recipient of numerous awards, including an Academy of Management “Best Paper Award,” a Society for Human Resource Management “Dissertation Grant Award,” and “Outstanding Doctoral Student Award.”

Prior to her doctoral studies, Hill worked for DuPont and General Electric in the U.K., Belgium, Germany, and the United States. Her work experience includes information technology, quality improvement, organizational change, training and development, and project management.
