Bio: Derrick Heggans is General Manager of AOL Sports, where he oversees all day-to-day operations, manages the FANHOUSE bloggers, and manages AOL’s fantasy products. Prior to AOL, Heggans served as Chief Operating Officer for Collegiate Images and worked in the Office of the NFL Commissions as Assistant Counsel for Broadcast Operations and Policy. He has also served as a Client Manager/NBPA Player Agent in the basketball division of Advantage International (now called Octagon). Recipient of the Sports Business Journal/Sports Business Daily 2009 "Forty Under 40 Award" honoring the most accomplished and promising young executives in the sports business under the age of 40.
