Most recently Jarrah was an assistant professor of decision sciences at the University of Wyoming. His research focuses on the application of optimization technology to large-scale logistics and transportation issues. Prior to beginning his career in higher education, Jarrah spent many years in the transportation industry designing, developing, and managing the deployment of large-scale, advanced decision support systems for air and ground logistics, and transportation. Jarrah has authored several research articles that have appeared in prominent scholarly journals including the European Journal of Operational Research, IIE Transactions, Interfaces, Management Science, Operations Research and Transportation Science.
