Everything you need to know to get registered your 1st Semester
Review Your Program’s Degree Requirements
All students should review their program’s degree requirements to determine what courses they should register for in any given semester. It is strongly suggested that all students follow the posted roadmaps (if applicable) along with speaking to their academic advisors prior to registration. It is strongly suggested that students complete their core requirements prior to starting their electives.
Request a Course Waiver
Students may be eligible to request course waivers based on previous coursework that meets specific criteria and/or certifications.
Register for Courses
Global MBA students who have submitted their final deposit to secure their seat in the program will automatically be registered for their fall courses no later than Monday, July 4.
Purchase Your Textbooks
Global MBA students will be sent a list of required textbooks for their fall courses in early July. All other programs should check the GW Bookstore website to identify what books are required for the courses you have registered for. Students should be aware that you are not obligated to purchase your books from the University. Textbooks are also available at amazon.com, half.com, and ebooks.com.
Review Your Student Account
You can view your tuition charges and pay your bill online using the GWeb information system. Once logged in – click the tab that says Student Account eBill and you will be directed to a secure site where you can view your account, authorize payments, and set up student loan refunds.
