This page will give you an overview of on-campus resources available to you. This is a broad overview and is not exhaustive.


Resources


  • Colonial Central
    Colonial Central is the hub for student services on campus. The Student Accounts Office, G-World Card Office (student ID cards) and Registrar are located here.
  • Campus Maps
    This virtual tour includes all buildings on the Foggy Bottom campus.  Look for Duques Hall, the main building for the GW School of Business.
  • GWEB
    Receive secure, real-time access to academic and financial records in the University’s administrative database. In order to access GWEB, you must have your GWU email address (NetID).
  • Business Cards
    MBA Students may purchase customized business cards with the official GW University logo.
  • Student Associations
    The MBA Program has various associations for students to join. Check them out today to find one that interests you!
  • Lerner Health and Wellness Center
    Students are automatically enrolled for access to the Lerner Health and Wellness Center on a semester-by-semester basis. Enrollment begins on the first day of student classes.
  • Office of Disability Services
    The Office for Disability Services is responsible for coordinating support services, reasonable academic accommodations, and promoting disability awareness in the university community.
  • Student Health Services
    SHS provides easy access to medical care. Services include referrals for specialty care, physicals, women’s health, immunizations, and psychiatric services. Please visit the SHS website for a full list of services.
  • University Counseling Center
    The UCC staff offers crisis intervention, individual and group counseling, assessment and testing, and referral assistance. Counselors are available 24/7.
  • The Writing Center
    The Writing Center provides writing instruction and tutoring for GW students at all levels of experience and expertise. Students are assisted in identifying writing problems and learning how best to express ideas. Tutors can help students get started on assignments such as case studies and analyses, research projects, presentations, cover letters and personal essays.
  • Gelman Library
    Located less than two blocks from Duques Hall, Gelman Library is open for 24-hour study for GW students. This library can provide books, articles, statistics, company information, and industry information. Other resources:  Business Research Guides, Refworks and other tools that help to create bibliographies and create footnotes, etc., consortium loans from other libraries, group study rooms.
  • Colonial Printing
    Colonial Printing is a wireless printing service that gives students the ability to print to any kiosk on campus from their laptop, desktop, Apple iOS or Android mobile devices. Nearly all GWSB labs use Colonial Printing.
  • IT support
    Student Technology Services offers walk-in support for all GW students.  Users can take advantage of many great services: virus and spyware removal, warranty repairs, student Banner PIN unlocks and resets, GWireless configuration and support, software and operating system upgrades and installations, and much more!
  • Computer Labs
    Labs for student use (when classes are not being held in the room) are located in Duques 350 and Duques 351. NetID and password are needed to log-in. During building hours, GWSB students are permitted to use the Bloomberg terminals in the Capital Markets Room on the 1st floor. A designated staff member must be present, who can assist you with logging in.
  • Software Available for GW Students
    The GW IT Support department offers a plethora of free software to current GW students including the full Microsoft Office Suite, Gartner Research Services, WebEx and more! Click the link above to browse the available software and download those that you need.
