Grade of F

A master’s degree candidate who receives a grade of F in a core or required course must repeat the course and earn a passing grade on the next attempt.  Students who receive a grade of F in an elective course may either repeat the same elective course or choose another to meet the minimum credit requirements for your program. Once a grade of F is earned in a core, required, or elective course, it remains a part of the student’s permanent record and is calculated into the GPA.
