Monice Sanders
Monice Sanders joined the F. David Fowler Career Center in July 2009 as a Career Consultant focusing on MBA Students. In this dynamic and constantly changing environment, she finds it exciting to work with students from a wide variety of backgrounds, as they craft their career plans.
Monice was a director with Verizon for about 14 years. She worked for over 20 years with the company, most recently leading the University Relations Team, and working with Diversity Management initiatives as well. She also has had various leadership roles in the Consumer/Small Business Organization - both leading support and sales teams, as well as various roles in Operations, Billing Systems, Marketing and others. Her expertise is varied, but a key emphasis is working with colleagues and students in mentoring roles. She is involved with several community and service organizations and efforts, including being on the Mid Atlantic Regional Board for Inroads, and serving as a manager of the bookstore at her church.
Monice earned an MBA from the University of Michigan, Ross School of Business, concentrating in Marketing and Human Resources. She earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics from Spelman College.
