Hilary Kautter is a Career Consultant at the F. David Fowler Career Center, supporting undergraduate students in career planning, pursing internships, and gaining post-graduate employment.
Hilary previously served as Assistant Director for Counseling and Programming at the Duke University Career Center, where she provided individual career advising and career development programming to undergraduate and graduate students of all disciplines, with a focus on undergraduates in engineering, science, and technology.
She also co-taught the Career Center’s LAUNCH 6-week career development course for first-year students, critiqued students’ application documents, conducted mock interviews, and engaged in strategic outreach to employers and Duke alumni. Hilary created and presented a program entitled “New Networking: Helping Students Put Their Best Foot Forward through Social Media” to student affairs professionals at the 2011 SoACE conference in Savannah, GA.
Hilary received her M.S.Ed. in Higher Education Administration with a concentration in Student Life and Development from the University of Miami (FL) in 2010. While in graduate school, she completed a year-long internship at UM’s Toppel Career Center.
