Cheryl Thomas

Cheryl Thomas is an accomplished career management professional with extensive experience assisting undergraduate and graduate level university students with the transition from university to work life as well as with adults in mid-life career transition. She has a proven track record assisting these individuals develop the most effective career development and job search plans. Her specialty areas are skills assessment, resume preparation, networking and interviewing techniques, and personal marketing plan development.

Cheryl has successfully designed and managed “start up” Career Center operations in both the public sector and university settings. She is considered to be an outstanding facilitator and a dynamic, friendly and enthusiastic presenter who has conducted numerous workshops on job search strategies, resume development and successful interviewing strategies.

Cheryl has a BS degree in the Social Sciences and received her M.Ed. in Counseling and Development from George Mason University in Fairfax, VA in 2004. She has a proven track record of leadership in the field of career management consulting by assisting individuals make choices that provide a satisfying and productive work life.
