International Business Bootcamp: Going Global and Going Global for International Students

There are 2 separate sessions available. The first is specifically for graduate students with a global mindset looking for an international career. The second is specifically for international students, both grad and undergrads, seeking to expand their international experience by working abroad.

International Business Bootcamp: Going Global
Date: September 29, 2015

Workshop Leader: Stacie Nevadomski Berdan, International Careers Expert

Learn and practice how to:
-Define your international career goals and identify high-growth markets and industries.
-Showcase your overseas experiences to potential employers.
-Package your international skills in order to apply them to current global business trends.

Going Global for International Students
Date: October 1, 2015
Time: 5-7PM
Location: Duques 650

Learn and practice how to:
-Define your personal global brand.
-Understand the characteristics of and devise a strategy for an international job search.
-Explore ways in which you can apply your international background, cross-cultural experiences, and languarge skills to further U.S. employers’ competitiveness abroad.

Each workshop is limited to 25 participants and requires students to complete an assignment prior to the session.
