Specialized Masters Career Services Overview

There are five Specialized Master Degree Programs: Accounting (MACCY), Finance (MSF), Project Management (PMP), Information Systems (MSIST) and Tourism Administration (MTA). Whether you are a full-time, part-time or distance student each of these disciplines has specific graduation requirements and a timeframe in which to complete the program.

The F. David Fowler Career Center (FDFCC) team is committed to building strategic partnerships among students, alumni, and employers that result in successful, fulfilling careers. Students are encouraged to discuss individual career objectives with a career consultant and to visit the GWSB Resource page for an extensive suite of on-line tools. Whether you come to GWSB to change career direction or to advance within your organization you have ready access to the guidance and training of dedicated career management professionals to assist you in finding the best fit for your skills, values, and interests.

  • Individualized one-on-one strategy and career management sessions with your career coach continue throughout your Master's Program and are designed to be thought provoking and action-orientated. Resume and cover letter critiques, networking techniques, mock interviews and offer negotiation combine to hone your skills and enhance your competitiveness in the marketplace.
  • In addition to regular office hours, telephone appointments are also available evenings and week-ends.
  • Numerous workshops and webinars on topics including resume and cover letter development, networking techniques, interviewing, and offer negotiations are offered to hone your skills and enhance your competitiveness in the marketplace.
  • An extensive suite of Online Career Resource tools is available 24-7.
  • Access to employment opportunities including, company presentations, the alumni Career Advisor Network, our online recruiting tool GWorkSB, networking events, career fairs, and on and off campus interviews continue throughout the school year.
