Networking & Learning in the Big City - New York City MBA Career Trek Recap

On Wednesday, October 7th, 32 MBA students traveled to New York City for the 9th annual MBA Career Trek. The Trek is an MBA tradition that allows students to network with alumni in their field of interest. This year students were organized into three "Trek Tracks:" finance, marketing, and real estate. GWSB Launches MSF Program in China

The GW School of Business and Renmin University of China International College (RUC-IC) launched a joint Master of Science in Finance program on October 15th. The program, which offers the standard GWSB MSF curriculum, allows qualified Chinese students to study finance in China and the United States with GWSB faculty. (Read more...)

Volunteer Opportunities

Alumni Networking Reception with the GWSB Living and Learning Community
Wednesday, November 9th | 6:00 p.m. - 7:30 p.m.
Duques Hall, 2201 G St NW, Washington, DC

Alumni volunteers are sought to help GWSB undergraduate students improve their networking skills while learning about potential career paths. The students are a part of GWSB's new Living and Learning Community (LLC) in Guthridge Hall. Alumni will also have the opportunity to learn about the LLC Mentor Program, which will pair alumni with students based on their industry affiliations and interests. "View from the Top: The Journey from GW to Industry Leadership"

This event, hosted as a part of the GWSB Undergraduate New York Career Trek, will feature alumni panelists reflecting upon their GW education and how it helped them in their careers. Immediately following the program, all are invited to join us for a networking reception. The reception is a unique opportunity for alumni to connect with each other and current students. The George Washington University School of Business MBA Program is pleased to bring together a group of accomplished GW alumni and current students who have made tremendous strides to impact both business and society.
