Position Announcement

The Department of Accountancy of The George Washington University School of Business invites applications to fill a teaching faculty position to begin Fall 2013.

Basic Qualifications: Applicants must have either 1) a doctoral degree in accounting, or 2) a master’s degree in accounting and professional experience of at least five years which is current, substantial in terms of level of responsibility and clearly linked to the field of teaching.

The successful candidate should have an excellent record of teaching, a strong commitment to teaching excellence and a willingness to actively participate in service for the department, school and university.

Appointment will be on a fixed-term contract lasting at least two years, and at an academic rank and salary commensurate with qualifications and experience. The contract is renewable subject to performance and departmental needs. Remuneration package includes medical, retirement and other benefits.
